Hotel Stripes, Kuala Lumpur Experience
One of the things I was pretty excited about during my KL trip was getting to check out another YTL property while I was in Kuala Lumpur. This time, I got the opportunity to check out Hotel Stripes. Another hotel that is part of the Autograph Collection hotels by Marriott. It's hard to miss as its exterior is quite unique. One of the things I love about the hotel is the location. It is situated near places to eat (they also have an amazing restaurant downstairs), it is also near a mall and train station so +++!
Upon arriving at the hotel, I was greeted by the friendly staff and offered to bring my bag until I reach my room. I checked in and was informed that the mini bar is complimentary (Yaaaay!) Entered my room and was greeted by a modern & stylish interior. The room is filled with hues of yellow, gray, beige, and black. It definitely gives you a warm feeling when you’re inside. My favorite thing in the room is the wall lamp by the bed!! I wanted to take it home so bad— I still do ha! Another thing you won’t miss when you enter the room is the giant photograph of the neighborhood above the bed. I love the contrast between the room’s modern vibe and the old photograph of the neighborhood.
After finally settling in, I was given a quick tour around the hotel and its different facilities. This includes Brasserie 25 (basically had most of my meals here), The Snug, Man Tao Bar, Pool, & the Gym. They also offer a number of meeting rooms that you can book while in the hotel.
The Snug (pictued on the left) is a multi-functional area where you can have events, meeting, etc. and at night, it can also be used for private dining & parties.

Usually, when writing my blog posts, I just write it as how it happens throughout the whole trip. This time, I opted to separate the facilities of the hotel and the food. One of the things that I enjoyed the most during my stay with Hotel Stripes is dining in Brasserie 25, the hotel's restaurant located by lobby of the hotel. I would definitely recommend dining here.
On the afternoon of our arrival, we were served Le Goûter at the restaurant. Basically it's an afternoon snack at around 4pm-ish (like Merienda for us Filipinos!). We were served coffee, a refreshing drink, some little savory sandwiches and mini savoury snacks before we were presented by this tray of delicious pastries that we can enjoy. And note: you can enjoy as much as you want so take your time and don't rush. You'll get to try every thing.
During one of our dinners, we were very lucky to have the opportunity to try their Earth Hour Course menu!
Loved the Slow Braised Beef Wagyu so much! Would love to get the chance to have it again in the future!
The reality of what my room really looks like LOL!
Both of the dishes were recommended by our server and it definitely did not disappoint! Specially the Duck Confit!
Busy morning in Brasserie 25 during breakfast!
That's it for my quick stay with Hotel Stripes in Kuala Lumpur. I hope you guys enjoyed reading the post (and hopefully it made you hungry too! Lol!)
