Henann Resort Alona Beach in Bohol

After our trip around Panay island, I went home to organize my thing and prepare for my quick trip to Bohol to check out Henann Resort. Bohol for me, is one of the places you should visit when you find yourself in the Philippines. I was pretty excited to finally be able to relax after all the hikes and boat trips. I still remember my first time in Bohol back in college when we had our outbound trip for our Principles of Tourism class (I was still taking up HRIM back then) It was one of the most memorable trips I've had because I was able to go with my closest classmates. I've been to Bohol quite a few times already and as soon as we landed at Tagbilaran airport, it already felt like home.

It was my first time to check in Henann Resort in Alona Beach so I was really thrilled to check out what they have. On our way to the hotel, we were quite worried because the weather app was telling us that it was going to be rainy. I wasn't surprised anymore since my past trips were all gloomy/rainy. I was prepared to just spend the whole afternoon inside the room watching Netflix lol! To our surprise, when we arrived, it was sunny. All I can think about is "Finally! The rain stopped following us!". As soon as we checked in, we ate lunch and spent the whole afternoon under the sun! There were multiple pools in the resort so it's definitely up to you where you want to spend the afternoon. We picked the one that was infront of the beach and the one with the nearest pool bar (Hehe) Anyway, I'll try and stop talking (or typing) and just show you how beautiful the place is!

Sea Breeze Cafe Beach Club facade where we had most of our meals. Walk-in guests are welcome in Sea Breeze. Rate for buffet lunch for adults and children are Php 585.60/person and Php 292.80/person respectively. The buffet dinner for adults and children are priced at         Php 854.00/person and Php 427.00/person respectively They have quite a selection so get your tummies ready and make room for food! Naturally, my favorite part of the buffet is the dessert area. Aside from the Sea Breeze Cafe, there is also Christina's that serve meals by order. During our first dinner, we were served a 5-course meal in Christina's. No photos this time because we inhaled everything once the food was served to us. Ha! The resort also offers room service so if you get too beached out and feel lazy to go down, you are free to just use your room's phone and order what you like!

Right after dinner, it started pouring real hard and our hopes of having another full day under the sun faded.

Some rooms have the pool right outside them so you can definitely wake up and jump in the pool. Haha!

Fast forward a few hours after dinner (and probably breakfast) the sun was out again! We were all rejoicing because we thought it was going to be rainy the rest of our stay. After spending the whole day at the pool fronting the beach yesterday, after we had our lunch, we decided to try out the ones the were around the rooms. The pools here were larger and less crowded! We were enjoying ourselves too much sipping drinks by the pool and laughing at each other's stories that we didn't' notice the time. The sun was about to go down. We were quite sad because the next morning, we will have to say good bye to this place and go back to Manila. I honestly didn't want to leave. Everything for me was perfect. The weather, the food, the place, the people. I promised myself to come back in the future and do more lounging around hehe!

Before leaving in the afternoon, I decided to go around and check the places I haven't seen in the resort. It was nice to see a lot of greens even in the courtyards.
